BOOSH is overseen by a parent committee which is in turn a sub-committee of the P & C.
The committee meets once every month in the evening at the centre. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
We try to keep these meetings under an hour.
Day to day operation is controlled by the Director and the staff.
Fulltime staff:
Childcare workers with either teaching background or TAFE diplomas.
Part-Time staff:
Generally TAFE/University students studying teaching or childcare studies.
Staff to Child ratio at BOOSH is 1:12 compared to the 1:15 required by the Department of Family Assistance Office.
